Worcester, MA – Bowdoin Construction announced that Rod Shaffert has joined the firm as vice president/project executive to lead its Worcester office and growth initiatives in central Massachusetts.
Shaffert’s duties include client advocacy, business development, pre-construction oversight, construction operations support, and assurance of customer satisfaction and retention.
He brings more than 35 years of construction experience with a comprehensive background building academic, medical, corporate, industrial, senior living, residential, and retail facilities.
Shaffert is a past-president and current board member for the Design Build Institute of America – New England Region and is a corporator of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts.

Shaffert has also been a frequent speaker for the Eastern Region of APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities.
