Construction Firm Announces Promotions

New Haven, CT – Babbidge Construction Company announced the recent promotion of three employees.

James Koran has been promoted to assistant superintendent. Koran joined Babbidge in early 2024 and has worked in the field under the supervision of various project superintendents. He says he continues to learn and grow his skills on the job site while putting safety at the forefront of his work.

Karan Maganti, a project engineer with Babbidge since 2023, has been promoted to assistant project manager. Maganti joined Babbidge after completing his master’s degree in construction management at Texas A&M University. The firm’s representatives say he has proven to be an asset, taking on more responsibility with site coordination, quality control and project documentation.

Kya Risher has been promoted to field engineer. While pursuing her master’s degree in construction management at Central Connecticut State University, Risher has been gaining on-the-job experience working at multiple job sites while maintaining cleanliness and site safety protocols.
