Boston – Steffian Bradley Architects (SBA) recently announced the promotions of Karri May, AIA, LEED AP; Mark Fobert, AIA; and Theresa Harris, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, EDAC.
May, with over ten years’ experience, has been promoted to Senior Associate. Since joining SBA, May has primarily focused on healthcare and senior living projects. May’s passion for design stems not from the built product, but the lasting impact her built environments have on the lives of patients and their families. May recently completed a successful new 85,000 SF addition at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY. Throughout her career, May has been actively involved with getting young people interested in the A/E/C industry through multiple industry mentorship programs and she is currently serving as a mentor for the Professional Women in Construction Connecticut Chapter’s Mentorship program.
Fobert has been promoted to Associate Principal. Fobert has 30 years of experience working across multiple market sectors. Since joining SBA in 2011, he has worked primarily on projects at Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield, Massachusetts. Fobert is currently working on SBA’s first tri-party integrated project delivery project at BMC, which is set to be completed one month ahead of schedule. Fobert serves as a Board Member on the Grafton Historical Commission and is a past committee member of the Hopkinton Design Review Committee. He has also served as a thesis advisor at Boston Architectural College.
Harris has been promoted to Associate Principal. Joining SBA in 2013, Harris’ high energy and skill level enable her to repeatedly plan, design and develop health care environments that both reflect and inspire healthy attitudes. As a health care planner with over 18 years of experience, Harris has continually demonstrated her expertise in planning, designing, and developing a variety of health care facilities.
