Susan Chu Foxlin, Kurt Rockstroh (president/CEO of SBA Boston), Teresa Wilson, and Ai Kurokawa

Boston – Steffian Bradley Architects (SBA) announced three appointments in its Boston office: Teresa Wilson, AIA, LEED AP, and Ai Kurokawa, AIA, LEED AP, have been named managing directors; and Susan Chu Foxlin, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP, has been named design director.

Wilson has worked at SBA Boston for the majority of her 24 years of professional practice. She has served as healthcare planner for SBA as well as its strategic planning group, and as principal-in-charge of healthcare projects.

Kurokawa has worked at SBA Boston for over 17 years, serving as project manager, studio staffing manager, and principal. Expertise in studio staff planning and project management design has helped prepare for her new internal management role.

Foxlin has worked internationally and has over 27 years in practice in the U.S. Her background allows her to design the experience by crafting a seamlessly cohesive architectural environment, and many of her projects have received national and regional design awards.

Kurt Rockstroh and Kirsten Waltz

SBA also recently announced that Kirsten Waltz, AIA, ACHA, EDAC, LEED AP, has been named president of U.S. Operations. Waltz assumes the responsibilities from Kurt Rockstroh, FAIA, FACHA, who continues as the firm’s global president and CEO.

Waltz, with a depth of experience in architectural practice, has worked in both SBA’s Boston and London offices, and has served as the managing principal of the Enfield, Connecticut office since its inception in 2007.
