Westfield, MA – Changing regulations and management trends are driving an increased demand forenvironmental, health and safety (EH&S) services in the Boston area. To support this upsurge, Tighe & Bond recently added EH&S expert William Potochniak, P.E. to its growing Westwood office team.
Potochniak, a project manager who has 20 years of local experience in engineering, is committed to serving EH&S clients in the Greater Boston Area. He specializes in water and wastewater treatment technologies with a focus on industrial wastewater treatment, regulatory permitting and assistance, system troubleshooting and upgrade evaluations, source reduction, and EH&S compliance. In addition, he prepares and certifies spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC) plans, and has conducted fieldwork related to the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP). His experience also includes serving as a wastewater treatment operator at the onset of his career.
Potochniak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering from Roger Williams University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts. He is also a member of the New England Water Environment Federation.
A resident of Natick, Potochniak has spent his entire career based in eastern Massachusetts, where he has developed a strong network of clients and partners.
