Seekonk, MA – D.F. Pray, a national general contractor and construction management company, recently welcomed two new project managers, Andrew Gamache and Scott Illingworth. They will be responsible for full project management, from budget estimating, plan review, and materials procurement to subcontractor scheduling, job site safety, and project closeout.
Gamache brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial building construction and engineering and project management. Prior to joining D.F. Pray, he was a project manager at several construction firms where he specialized in tenant fit-outs and interior remodel projects for retail clients. He is in the preconstruction phase of the design-build renovation of the Dwares JCC in Providence for the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island.
Illingworth joins D.F. Pray with more than 16 years of experience in commercial construction project management. His expertise includes total project administration, design review, permitting, requisitions, value engineering, subcontractor coordination, and project closeout. Past experience includes tenant fit-outs, multi-family residential, school and university buildings, restaurants, and historic mill rehabilitations. He currently is working on the Narragansett Indian Health Center in Charlestown, R.I., an 18,800sf arc-shaped building set among sacred land.
The company also announced that Nicholas Giacobbi has been promoted to the position of director of special operations based in the New York City office. In this new role, he will handle all aspects of construction management and client relations for several large-scale projects at a time.
Prior to joining D.F. Pray in 2014, Giacobbi held various real estate development, project management, estimating, and business development positions for national firms around the U.S.
