Watertown, MA – Every spring, construction companies from all over the United States join together and designate one week out of the year to collectively reflect upon and address the critical nature of safety in the industry. J.C. Cannistraro, LLC is pleased to announce its participation in Safety Week 2014, joining dozens of the nation’s top contractors as they reaffirm commitments to making construction sites safe places to work.
“Safety is a vital part of the operations of our company,” explained Cannistraro’s Operations Manager Neil H. Johnson. “It is our responsibility to harness the same resources and enthusiasm that enable us to be Building with IntelligenceTM to maintain a strong safety culture; and Safety Week will play a big role in helping to achieve that goal.” As part of its Safety Week program, Cannistraro has scheduled a host of activities aimed at promoting a safe-working culture including in-house and jobsite Safety Summits, a pilot Stretch and Flex Program on all projects, and a social media-driven photo contest for employees to promote safety awareness. The company also plans to wrap-up its comprehensive safety survey that began in early 2014 and gathered safety feedback and best practices from all Cannistraro field personnel.
