Boston – BOND recently announced the promotion of Kevin Aylwin to Project Executive.
Kevin has more than 19 years of experience in the construction industry, with six of those years spent at BOND. He has focused his career on projects in the BOND Select Projects Group, specializing in renovations. Kevin’s management style is client-focused and service-driven, reflecting a commitment to fostering client relationships and team-building. He brings excellent technical competencies and leadership to fast-track complex projects.
Kevin’s leadership has been demonstrated on many BOND projects, including the recent relocation of the North Bennet Street School in Boston’s North End. Winner of the 2014 CoreNet Special Recognition Award, this project involved the renovation and historic restoration of two former City of Boston facilities into a remarkable environment for trade-based educational programs.
Currently, Kevin is leading the expansion of two facilities on the Bentley University campus. This two-building program requires skills in campus logistics and subcontractor management, as well as close oversight of budget. Additionally, Kevin has overseen the reconstruction of a 1,000-seat dining facility at Bryant University which required construction to be completed in an eight-week time span.
Over his career, Kevin has managed fast-track projects for a multitude of academic owners, including Tufts University, Boston College, the Wentworth Institute of Technology, Harvard Law School and Bryant University, as well as corporate clients including the Federal Reserve Bank, Holland & Knight, and Fidelity Investments.
Kevin is a graduate of the Wentworth Institute of Technology with a BS in Architectural Engineering.
