Boston MA – Green innovation for the people was the focus of the 3rd annual Innovation in Green Design Award, given each year by the Massachusetts Chapter of the US Green Building Council. The jury awarded two building projects and a training program, all of which bring the best forward-looking ideas in green building to regular corporate and development clients.
This year’s esteemed jury was: James Batchelor, President and CEO of Arrowstreet, a nationally recognized architecture firm in Somerville; David Newman, Senior Director of Global Sustainability at Millipore Corporation; and Edward Connelly, President of New Ecology Inc. in Boston.

Hosted since 2008, the annual event connects the local green building community and recognizes innovation throughout the state. The Innovation in Green Design Awards recognize Massachusetts based projects, products, and technologies that are innovative, replicable, and have significant impact in Massachusetts. All of the submissions are on view at Nexus Boston, 38 Chauncy Street, Boston, MA.
