Mancheter, Ma – Windover Construction recently announced the completion of a new dormitory for The Cambridge School of Weston. Partnering with the design teams at Pinck & Associates and Eck | MacNeely Architects, Windover completed this fast-tracked project in less than 12 months.

Known as The Warren House, the 11,000 SF dormitory includes 24 student beds and three faculty apartments. In addition to the residential rooms and apartments, the building has a large common space with adjacent kitchenettes, a computer and group study room, summer storage space for students and faculty, outdoor community space and a large kitchen classroom. During the entire process, a strong emphasis was placed on integrating eco-friendly materials and design elements.

“I know we made the right choice hiring Windover. The finished product has greatly enhanced our campus look, feel and offerings. I couldn’t be happier,” said Aaron Hirsch, Dean of Student Life. “Throughout this process, we have built a great relationship with the entire Windover team. They have been a true partner from day one.”

“This project is a testament to the collaboration among the school, design team and Windover personnel,” said Stuart Meurer, Vice President of Windover Construction. “Within a relatively short period of time, we were able to deliver an innovative, functional space that will serve the needs of the campus for years to come.”
