Director of CPCE Graduate Programs
Responsible for the direction and administrative functions of the Master of Science in Construction Management and Master of Science in Facility Management Programs including curriculum development; revisions and coordination; program strategic planning; student advising; coordination of accreditation reports; coordination with supporting departments and CPCE for the marketing, admissions, and prospective student acceptances. Will lead the transition of these programs to be fully online offerings over time; help in the development and review of marketing materials; in the development of outreach initiatives to industry, sponsors, and the management of the existing Industrial Advisory Committee (IPAC). Is the lead person, in collaboration with the academic departments for the recruitment, selection and management of the adjunct faculty teaching in these programs. Takes the lead in preparing the application for accreditation of these new graduate programs with the American Council on Construction Education (ACCE) and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), once we have our first graduating class from each program. Creates a collaborative team environment in the management and administration of these shared programs between the academic departments and CPCE to insure a high quality program and high levels of student satisfaction. Ideal candidate will also take an active role in the identification and development of new program offerings, beyond the existing graduate programs of CPCE.
Requirements:
Master’s degree and minimum of 8 years experience is required. Ph.D. is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
