East Providence, Vision 3 recently completed an addition to Barrington Medical Center in East Providence. This addition was designed to house the next generation of MRI, the 3T MRI. To provide adequate space, a 1,050 s.f. building addition was added to RIMI’s existing imaging facility located in the BMC. The addition houses the MRI Exam Room, Control Room, MRI Equipment Room and supports the complex mechanical and electrical systems needed to operate the MRI. Interior renovations were also made to the existing imaging facility. The renovations included a new patient waiting and changing area, new staff offices and a new reading room.
