Boston, MA– R.G. Vanderweil Engineers and Payette Associates recently announced their client, Georgetown University, has achieved LEED® Gold certification on the new construction of the Regents Hall. The Regent’s Hall project is a 150,000 square foot science center located in Washington, DC. By incorporating Georgetown’s public commitment to sustainability and reduce carbon footprint, the design team leveraged the programmatic requirements within a sustainably design building structure and engineered systems to provide an energy and water efficient teaching and research environment for Georgetown University’s faculty and students.
