Old Town, ME – AlliedCook Construction, a northern New England construction management firm, recently completed renovations at University Park, a family housing development for the University of Maine community.
AlliedCook provided construction management services for life-safety upgrades at that included the installation of sprinklers into 14 single-story apartment buildings constructed in the 1960s. The work also included modifications of the firm alarm systems and associated carpentry and finishes. The project required careful planning and coordination in order to limit disruption to residents.
Despite an aggressive three-month schedule, the project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
