Raymond, N.H – Jewett Automotive Design & Construction announced two new contracts: Charles Daher’s Commonwealth Motors in Lawrence, Mass, and AutoServ New Hampshire in Tilden, N.H.
Jewett will build a ground-up, state-of-the-art Chevrolet dealership in Lawrence, where Charles Daher’s Commonwealth Motors also holds franchises for Nissan, VW, Kia, and Honda.
The new 28,400sf facility will consist of a 12,500sf steel-framed service bay structure and a 15,800sf pre-engineered steel building housing an automobile showroom and administration/management offices, as well as utility areas and parts storage.
All steel is being erected by Jewett Metal Buildings & Steel Erectors, a division of Jewett Construction Company, Inc. of Raymond.
The AutoServ New Hampshire project involves the renovation of its Nissan dealership at 40 East Main Street in Tilton. It includes the addition of a new 5,700sf single story, steel-framed showroom at the east end of the existing dealership, renovations to the existing building, and associated site work, including provisions for future electric car-charging stations.
