Boston – Suffolk Construction will be launching a new comprehensive program designed to enhance the capabilities of Supplier Diversity Office (SDO)-certified businesses. The Suffolk Construction Subcontractor Development Series is a seven-session program that will assist subcontractors in cultivating long-term growth; strengthen the capacity of disadvantaged, minority, and women business enterprises; and foster relationships with Suffolk, the largest general contractor in New England. The unique program begins on September 13 and will be provided at no cost to thirty selected participants.
The series will be offered exclusively to fifteen union and fifteen non-union subcontractors that are certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), or Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). Firms must also have been in business for a minimum of two years.
