Boston– The design of 100,000sf of office space at 60 State Street in Boston for Pioneer Investments was recently completed by Margulies Perruzzi Architects.
StructureTone served as construction manager for the project, and AHA Consulting Engineers provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services. Equity Office Properties is the landlord of 60 State Street.
The office design and additional support space consisting of five floors at Pioneer’s Boston office was substantially updated. The 16th floor was completely redesigned embracing an open layout with fewer private offices.
The architects redesigned workspaces, conference rooms, lobbies, reception areas and selected new finishes, furniture, and lighting. The project included a major reconfiguration of Pioneer’s IT/mission critical spaces and the addition of a conference center featuring a suite of conference rooms with a large breakout area.
