Boton, MA – Spagnolo Gisness & Associates, Inc. (SG&A) received the 2011 International Interior Design Association (New England Chapter) Award for Best Research Facility for the design of the 120,000 sf new corporate, R&D and manufacturing facility for Palomar Medical Technologies, Inc. in Burlington, MA. Winners were recognized at the chapter’s recent awards gala at the Institute of Contemporary Art on Boston’s waterfront.
Palomar Medical Technologies, Inc. produces the world’s most advanced laser and pulsed light systems for aesthetic applications. SG&A worked with Palomar to develop a design for its corporate headquarters with flexibility, collaboration and interaction at its core. The design encourages collaboration between research, manufacturing and administrative functions and facilitates interactions with customers. The result is a cohesive and highly flexible work environment worthy of recognition.
