Keene, NH – Brookstone Builders, Inc. of Manchester, recently completed a new construction project for Southwestern Community Services of Keene.
The scope-of-work involved the construction of an 8,400sf transitional housing facility located on six acres of land off Route 101, adjacent to the Cheshire County jail. “The Second Chance for Success” is a wood-framed structure built on an aggregate pier foundation, and consists of six fully-outfitted apartments along with office space and meeting rooms.
Dave Giovagnoli of Brookstone Builders was the project manager, and George Hickey Architects of Sanbornton served as the project’s architects.
Southwestern Community Services is a Keene-based community services organization that has provided senior and affordable housing in the area.
The project was partially financed by the New Hampshire Housing Authority.
