Rockland and Quincy, MA – The South Shore Chamber of Commerce announced that Campanelli has been named a Director’s Partner for the year 2014.
Campanelli is one of only 40 businesses to hold this prestigious position with the South Shore Chamber, affording financial commitment, promotional opportunity, high level connections with other Chamber partners and high-level participation in Chamber activities all the while boosting the Chamber’s visibility and reaching out to both existing and potential members.
DanDeMarco, Partner, will represent Campanelli at the Chamber. He joined Campanelli in 1989 and is currently responsible for managing Campanelli’s business operations, including the firm’s commercial real estate portfolio, as well as acquisitions and new development. During his career at Campanelli, DeMarco has been directly involved in developing and acquiring over 10 million square feet of commercial real estate property.
DeMarco earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Amherst College and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. He previously served as Chairman of the Board for the South Shore YMCA Board of Directors, Chief Volunteer Officer and Board of Trustees. The SSYMCA serves over 65,000 people on the South Shore and operates six YMCA braches. Dan played a pivotal role in the development of the new Quincy YMCA that opened in late 2013.
DeMarco is an active member of the NAIOP (The Commercial Real Estate Development Association) Massachusetts chapter and served as the 2003 National Chairman, overseeing 50 chapters with a total membership of 15,000 people. He also presided over the Massachusetts chapter of NAIOP as President in 1996 and remains on the Board of Directors.
