Westfield, Mass – Last month, Stephen Seigal, P.E., BCEE joined Tighe & Bond, Inc. as a vice president who will work primarily out of the firm’s Worcester, Massachusetts office. A civil engineer with 36 years of regional experience in the wastewater industry, he is a familiar face to many municipal staff in New England cities and towns.
Seigal has planned, designed and provided construction phase engineering services for more than 24 wastewater treatment facilities throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island. His expertise includes innovative wastewater treatment technologies for nutrient removal, biosolids processing and disposal, odor control, pumping stations and collection systems.
“Steve is a recognized expert in wastewater management, and has written and presented papers at regional and national technical conferences. Needless to say, he is a welcome addition to our team, with experience and knowledge that will benefit our clients greatly,” says David Pinsky, President of Tighe & Bond.
A resident of Marlborough, Massachusetts, Seigal earned both his master of science and bachelor of science degrees in civil engineering from Northeastern University. He holds professional registrations in five New England states, and also has the distinction of being recognized as a Board Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE) by the Academy of Environmental Engineers. His professional memberships include the New England Water Environment Association, the Water Environment Federation, and the Connecticut Water Pollution Abatement Association.
