Hartford, CT – Melissa Roy has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Professional Women in Construction Connecticut Chapter (PWC-CT) for 2012-2013.
PWC is a national, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization committed to advancing professional, entrepreneurial and managerial opportunities for women and other “non-traditional” populations in construction and related industries.
In addition to being an active member of the PWC-CT since its inception in 2005 and serving on its Scholarship Committee and as a mentor, Roy has served as Director and Vice President for the National Association of Women in Construction, Chapter 165, participates annually in Rebuilding Together, and has completed a number of builds with Habitat for Humanity, including several WomenBuild events. With more than a decade of experience working in the construction industry, she is a business development associate at Consigli Construction Co., Inc. in Hartford
