South Hamilton, Mass. – Rhino Public Relations, a specialty public relations and marketing agency, announced today that Michele Spiewak has been promoted to Account Director. In her new role, Michele will continue to be responsible for developing, managing, and executing PR programs to support Rhino PR clients, and working directly with Principal Susan Shelby, CPSM to develop agency staff and programs.
Michele joined Rhino PR in April 2008, with more than 15 years of public relations experience. She began as an Account Executive and soon advanced to Account Manager, climbing the agency’s ranks over the past four years. In her new role as Account Director, Michele will take on responsibility for staff development including training Rhino PR staff, overseeing professional development, and reinforcing the agency’s unique culture.
Michele has worked with clients Margulies Perruzzi Architects, one of Boston’s most innovative architectural and interior design firms, and Acentech, a multi-disciplinary acoustics, audiovisual systems design, and vibration consulting firm, since joining Rhino PR. Her work has resulted in significant media coverage and industry awards, contributing to the growth of both accounts.

Michele’s career includes extensive experience in the technology and architecture/design fields at firms such as Shandwick International, Sasaki Associates and Art Technology Group (ATG). She has worked as a freelance writer and public relations consultant for non-profit organizations including community-based agencies, hospitals, school systems and municipalities. She also served as a judge of The Publicity Club of New England Bell Ringer Awards from 2001-2003.
Michele graduated from American University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and environmental studies.
