Providence, RI – David R. Prengaman, AIA, LEED AP has been reelected as the Chairman of the State
of Rhode Island Board of Examination and Registration of Architects. Prengaman is a principal at Vision 3
Architects in Providence, an award winning architecture and interior design firm founded in 1987. During his 27 years in practice, Prengaman has designed, planned, and managed large-scale office, healthcare, commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
Prengaman also serves as Chairman of the New England Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and
previously served as President of the American Institute of Architects’ Rhode Island chapter. Prengaman has served on the board of directors and committees for various local non-profit organizations, including St. Mary Academy-Bay View East Bay Mental Health Center, and the Diocese of Providence.
Prengaman received his Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science degrees from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He resides in Riverside with his wife and children.
