Boston, MA – Patrick D. Perry has joined The Marr Companies as Safety Representative, responsible for implementing the company’s wide-ranging corporate safety program to all four Marr entities: Marr Scaffolding Company, Daniel Marr & Son Company, Marr Crane & Rigging and Isaac Blair & Co., Inc.
Mr. Perry will provide field support for Marr Safety Programs and will work to ensure that Safety Policies and Procedures are implemented and that Marr is in compliance with Federal and State regulations on every job site and in all company work locations. He will conduct Customer Safety Training and monitor the safe use of company equipment at job-site locations.
Prior to joining Marr, Mr. Perry was the Regional Health and Safety Engineer responsible for the implementation and coordination of safety policies at multiple sites in two states for Schnitzer Northeast, a metals recycling business and prior to that, he was with Francis Harvey & Sons from 2008 to 2010, where he was Safety Director responsible for conducting numerous monthly inspections at more than 25 separate locations, training hundreds of employees.
Mr. Perry is a 2006 graduate of Keene State College, Keene, NH, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety. He has numerous certifications including the OSHA 510 and 511 and several 40-hour Competent Person certifications.
