New Haven, CT – Connecticut Building Congress, Inc., recently honored the Intercontinental Developers Lot E Parking Garage project with an award of merit in the new construction category (above $10 million construction cost).
Developer, Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation; construction manager, Gilbane Building Company and architect Spagnolo Gisness Associates, were all in attendance to accept the award.
The Intercontinental Developers, Inc. Lot E project included preconstruction and construction of a six-level, 845-car parking garage and a 75,000sf, three-story building which includes retail space and a 24-unit residential building adjacent to the Yale-New Haven Medical Center. The project has been endorsed and actively supported by the City of New Haven as a key economic development driver. The project is targeting LEED NC v2.2 Certification.
