Wolfeboro, NH – North Branch Construction of Concord has been performing major summer construction for the Kingswood Middle School, High School, and Vocational School. Approximately 300 construction workers have been on-site each day to complete renovations to all three schools.
Recent demolition has led to the discovery of a hidden asbestos ceiling and unbraced concrete block walls in the High School cafeteria. This will pose a slight delay in the construction schedule while North Branch overcomes this unexpected hurdle.
Students in grades 7 through 12 will add an extra two weeks to their summer vacation and begin classes on September 19th.
North Branch continues to work with building inspectors, the school district and its principals, and CMK Architects of Manchester, to provide the community of Wolfeboro with fully renovated, upgraded, and safe facilities for their students.
