Canton, MA – Needham Electric Supply has opened its ninth branch in New Hampshire. The new Hudson location, conveniently located at 13 Hampshire Drive, is a full-service branch including a 1,500sf counter and 5,000sf warehouse.
Walter Mycroft, who joined Needham Electric in October 2012 and has 20+ years experience in the industry, has been named district manager. He will be responsible for managing the day-to-day sales and operations as well as expanding the company’s footprint in southern New Ham[shire.
With the recent acquisition of Laconia Electric, a six-branch distributor in New Hampshire, Needham Electric has grown to 25 locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont, and recently announced that it has acquired the assets of GTM Electric Supply of St. Albans, Vt. GTM will operate as Needham Electric Supply.
GTM Electric, founded by Mark Bourbeau in 1991, is a privately held electrical distributor serving primarily residential and commercial contractors in Northern Vermont.
Bourbeau has been named branch manager and will continue to manage the day-to-day sales and operations.
In addition, Needham Electric Supply has acquired the assets of Bristol County Electrical Supply located in Taunton, Mass.
Founded in 1974, Bristol County Electrical Supply is a privately held electrical distributor serving primarily residential and commercial contractors in the greater Taunton area. Marc Barney has been named branch manager and will continue to manage the day-to-day sales and operations.

In the past four months Needham Electric Supply has added nine new locations through organic growth and strategic acquisition including a new branch in Hudson, New Hampshire and the acquisition of Laconia Electric Supply in New Hampshire with six branches and one showroom.
