Nadeau Completes MA Army National Guard

Camp Edwards, Massachusetts – Nadeau Corp. has completed yet another project for the Massachusetts Army National Guard. This time the endeavor was improvements made to the Bachelor Officer Quarters, or BOQ facility 5500, at Camp Edwards. These Bachelor Officer Quarters are buildings on the Cape Cod Military Base used for quartering commissioned officers.

Camp Edwards, Massachusetts – Nadeau  Corp. has completed yet another project for the Massachusetts Army National Guard. This time the endeavor was improvements made to the Bachelor Officer Quarters, or BOQ facility 5500, at Camp Edwards. These Bachelor Officer Quarters are buildings on the Cape Cod Military Base used for quartering commissioned officers.

The project involved coordination of many key specialists from all over New England worth mention. Hot water improvements and new showers were tackled by Robert W. Irvine & Sons out of Lynn, HVAC upgrades by Dwight D Silva HVAC of Fall River, and electrical advancement by KRT Electrical out of Bridgewater, Ma.

This project also included many aesthetic amenities for the improved space. Key subcontractors took on challenges such as refinishing hardwood floors done by Quang Hardwood Floor out of Dorchester, and installing new kitchen flooring by Foxboro’s The Carpet Gallery. Kitchen cabinets and countertops from Douglass Lumber from Smithfield, RI were installed by A1 Home Improvements from Cranston, RI. “It truly was a melting pot of professionals brought together on this,” stated Sean Lamontagne, director of business development for Nadeau Corporation.

Nadeau Corporation’s project manager David D’Angelo, delivered the project for the Army National Guard and ensured the strict safety standards as well as the high quality of work set by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers was met. This is one of numerous National Guard projects that Nadeau has been recently awarded.
