Scarborough, ME – Hospice of Southern Maine recently selected MorrisSwitzer~Environments for Health to design a new ‘Center for Hospice’ in Scarborough, Maine. This 15,000 SF facility will serve as the hub of Hospice of Southern Maine’s home-based hospice services, bereavement support, educational services, volunteer program and business support functions. The building will be located on a 7.8 acre parcel on US Route 1/Lincoln Ave. The facility will be designed as a supportive environment for grieving families and the staff who work with them every day.
