Weston, MA – Metro Walls was recently hired by Themeli Builders to perform a large scope of work at St. Demetrio’s Greek Orthodox Church in Weston. The projects included light gauge steel framing, exterior sheathing, insulation, drywall and plaster. The architect for the project is Yervant Nahikian who has worked closely with the church to design a unique yet traditional place for the churches gatherings.
In order for Metro to make Nahikian’s design come to life, curved light gauge steel framing was used to build the main dome, which is a major focus of the design. the domes structure was completed in July and raised to be placed 64 feet up in the center of the church.
