Bedford, NH – The new 78,500sf Market Basket store located at 539 Donald Street at the intersection of Route 114 in Bedford, is nearing completion.
RMD Inc of Tewksbury, Mass. is the developer for Demoulas Super Markets Inc. and the Market Basket stores.
Prellwitz/Chilinski Associates Inc. of Cambridge, Mass. is the project architect and Pro Con Inc.of Manchester, N.H. is the construction manager for the project
The new store is conveniently located near the intersection of Routes 101 and 114. The store will feature a market’s café, a market’s kitchen, and an in-store bakery.
Oversized store-front windows allow natural light into the building and high efficiency lighting fixtures illuminate the aisles. The building’s exterior features Hardie plank siding and ground face block.
This is the second Market Basket supermarket Pro Con Inc has managed for DeMoulas Super Markets.
In March 2012, Pro Con Inc completed a 100,000 sf Market Basket store on Elm Street in downtown Manchester, NH.
