Boston – Prominent national magazine Engineering News-Record, using data collected from a comprehensive survey of architecture, engineering, and environmental firms across the United States, ranked EYP Architecture & Engineering as number 144 (up from number 156 in 2011) on its prestigious annual list of the country’s Top 500 Design Firms, as well as number 17 on its list of Top 100 Green Design Firms and fifth in the nation for green design of educational facilities.
Companies named on the Top 500 Design Firms list were ranked according to revenue for design services performed in 2011. The accompanying article also examined domestic and international profitability, overall growth, firms’ backlogs, and numbers of employees. Those ranked on the Top 100 Green Design Firms list were ranked based on projects registered with and actively seeking certification from groups under objective sustainable design standards.
