Dorchester, MA – Lee Kennedy Co. recently topped off a two-story addition to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. The addition is part of a $16.5 million expansion and renovation of the facility that Lee Kennedy Co. is completing for the National Archives & Record Administration.
The new 30,000 square-foot addition will house artifacts and documents previously stored off-site. In addition to the new construction, Lee Kennedy Co.’s team is performing 20,000 square feet of renovation within the library and museum. Renovations include archive and artifact storage areas; support space; offices; security areas; exhibit space; the main lobby and gift shop and some deferred maintenance.
Other ongoing work in the company’s academic/ institutional market includes projects for The Boston Conservatory; Salem State College; Harvard University and the Winsor School, among others.
