JC&A Adds Chris Modica to Team

Quincy, MA – J. Calnan & Associates, Inc. announced today that Chris Modica
has joined the Quincy-based company as a Project Manager. In this capacity, he will
be responsible for advancing JC&A’s ability to deliver superior project management
services to our clients and will focus on continuing to expand our corporate and
private school project portfolio.
In addition, Mr. Modica will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of projects from
preliminary planning throughout construction and final occupancy. His responsibilities include supervision
of staff and subcontractors; trade coordination; logistics and safety planning; subcontractor buy-out;
contract negotiation; requisition review and approval; financial status reports; budget reports; quality control
Mr. Modica has over 10 years of project management experience in the construction industry and an
impressive list of satisfied clients.
Prior to joining J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Chris held project
management positions at Cutler Associates, Inc., Shawmut Design and Construction and Bond Brothers
where he managed complex projects ranging from 3,700 square feet to 350,000 square feet. Some of his
previous clients include Philips Academy, Emerson College, UMass Medical School, Clark University and
