Needham, MA – JACA Architects, an architectural firm that specializes solely on healthcare build and design was awarded a contract to design the new, state-of-the-art cancer center for the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham campus.

Designed by JACA and constructed by BOND Brothers, this three-story, 30,000sf building will fulfill the demand for high quality Cancer Care and Surgery Center in the western suburbs of Boston.

The center will include radiation oncology and hematology oncology services, and is slated to open in the spring of 2014.

The building being constructed will be located on the footprint of BID-Needham’s former administration building, which was ceremoniously demolished last month.  In addition to the building, a new parking area is being built where parking will continue to be free for all patient and visitors.

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has been a client of JACA Architects for about a decade now.
