The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) formed councils and local Chapter Networks to meet the industry-specific networking and information needs of its members. Truly global in nature, councils are not limited by geographic boundaries. You are able to communicate with colleagues worldwide about issues, concerns and best practices specific to your area of facility management. IFMA Boston has a number of networks to choose from. Most major international councils are represented locally in the Boston Chapter via its local networks.
The IFMA Boston Healthcare Network welcomes facilities managers working for hospitals and other related organizations. Members learn about the latest innovations in the field, tour healthcare facilities and network with peers and other professionals who work in and for hospitals.
The IFMA Boston Healthcare Network consists of planners, hospital administrators, facility managers, design and construction professional, consultants, vendors and students serving academic medical centers and community hospitals, retirement facilities, and specialty hospitals and clinics. As a network of IFMA’s Healthcare Council, our goal is to holistically enhance the skills of facility management professionals within the healthcare industry and to further the profession overall. We host educational sessions and networking events to showcase work experience, emerging trends and case studies while addressing best practices in facility management at healthcare facilities.
There are numerous events planned that begin in September.
