Boston – Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) has a new software package which enables sustainable programming decisions, embeds key early stage IESVE analysis tools within Trelligence Affinity software, and also enables seamless transfer of projects to the VE platform for access to IES’ full range of analytical tools.
“The ability to run building performance analysis right from the earliest programming stages will make developing green buildings an easier and faster process,” said Larry Ciscon, Ph.D., President of Trelligence. “Architects will now have unprecedented access to early stage building analysis direct from programming and early design tools. They will have the ability at their fingertips to be able to determine the most efficient floor-area-ratio long before a room layout is considered, for example.”
Architecture teams will be able to capture program data and auto-generate conceptual floor plans and stacking diagrams in Trelligence Affinity software and then run sustainable analyses using the IES VE software from within Affinity. Designers will be able to get instant feedback on climate metrics, building characteristics, energy and carbon use and heating and cooling loads
