Boston – Integrated Design Group (ID) has hired 13 new employees who join the architectural, engineering, project management, business development and marketing groups.
The Boston headquarters additions include:
Robert Cayer, assistant project manager, has more than five years experience. He has worked as a project assistant at Brown University, an architectural/design assistant at Maxwell Architects in Somerville and as a project manager at Yusen Associates in Woburn.
Chuck Elwell joins the fire protection group. He has worked in the MEP industry for the past seven years. He previously worked at AKF Group, RW Sullivan, and Metcalf & Eddy. He is responsible for preparing HVAC system layout drawings, revising architectural, electrical, structural and HVAC documents to reflect “as-built” conditions.
Monty Forman, associate and architect, has more than six years of design experience. He previously worked at Front Inc. in New York, where his focus was museum day lighting systems, sustainable façade design, and high-rise curtain systems.
Michael Harkins AIA, LEED AP, project manager, has 20 years of experience in architecture complemented by a deep understanding of engineering and HVAC systems. Past experience includes working for AECOM, Whitney Atwood Norcross Associates, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, DCPO, Arnold Jacobson Associates, and Sullivan Design Group.
Steven Hart, mechanical co-op, is a mechanical engineering student at the UMass Amherst. He recently showcased his innovation through the student engineering organization “Let’s Go Design,” in which he designed and built a small wind turbine.
John Ho, architectural co-op, is an architecture student joining Integrated Design Group from Northeastern University for his second co-op through the school.
Zubair Kazi, AIA, LEED AP, BD+C, architect, joins ID from New York City. He previously worked as an architect at Ennead Architects, on hazard mitigation for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and assistant project manager for William Nicholas Bodouva + Associates.
Heather Little, architectural co-op, is an architecture student from Northeastern University. She is joining Integrated Design Group after completing her first internship with Boston University’s facilities department.
Joseph Maggio, senior executive, joins the business development team. A seasoned sales professional, his career experience includes positions at Validus Direct Current Systems, DSA Encore, and most recently at Horizon Line Technology.
Michael Proscia, architectural designer has an interest in green design and development. His previous work experience includes positions as an intern architect and marketing coordinator at CVM, and as an intern architect at The S/L/A/M Collaborative.
Geri-Ann Quinlivan, architectural designer, re-joins Integrated Design Group after interning with the company in 2010. She has previous experience at Boston Virtual Imaging, ICON Architecture and Consigli Construction Company.
Duc Vo, assistant project manager has held internships with companies such as Marc Truant, DesignLab, Arrowstreet, Harvard Real Estate Services, and Modern Continental Construction. Previous experience includes all aspects of construction management at Maloney Properties.
Michelle Bramson was previously an administrative assistant at the firm.. As a marketing coordinator, she will be assisting with public relations efforts, proposal coordination, and creating marketing collateral.
