CT – Hoffmann Architects, an architecture and engineering firm specializing in the rehabilitation of building exteriors, is pleased to announce the promotion of two employees.
Kevin R. Weise, Assoc. AIA has been recognized for his initiative, dependability, and knowledge of the building envelope with a promotion to project manager. Previously a project coordinator with the firm, Weise is responsible for conducting investigations, developing design documents, and participating in construction oversight. His new responsibilities will also include diagnosing building system distress, preparing condition survey reports, building and maintaining client relationships, and leading project teams. As part of Hoffmann Architects’ New York City office, Weise has earned the trust and confidence of clients and peers alike. He received a
Bachelor of Architecture degree from Temple University, and he lives in Manhattan, New York.
Michael S. Pereira, Assoc. AIA has been promoted to project coordinator for his contributions to exterior envelope rehabilitation projects at Hoffmann Architects. In his former role as project representative, Pereira provided
drafting, design detailing, and construction administration support to the firm’s Connecticut office. He will now be responsible for developing drawings and specifications, overseeing construction, liaising between building owners and
contractors, and supporting design development. Originally an intern with Hoffmann Architects, Pereira earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in architectural engineering technology from the University of
Hartford. He is currently enrolled in the highly selective Master of Architecture degree program at Boston Architectural College (BAC). He lives in Hamden, Connecticut.
