Bronx, NY – Engineering Firm Presented with Award for Bronx Parking Garage At a gathering held on March 3, 2012, Unistress Corporation presented FST Engineers, Inc. with their 2011 PCI Award for FST’s role as lead structural engineers on the 164th Street Parking Garage in the Bronx, NY.

Bronx, NY – Engineering Firm Presented with Award for Bronx Parking Garage At a gathering held on March 3, 2012, Unistress Corporation presented FST Engineers, Inc. with their 2011 PCI Award for FST’s role as lead structural engineers on the 164th Street Parking Garage in the Bronx, NY. Unistress was the precaster for this garage project. This award from PCI (Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute) was presented to the design-build team for the design and construction of the 250,000 square foot, 800-vehicle garage, built as one of three new parking facilities serving the new Yankee Stadium. The structure,selected as national winner in the Parking Structures: 0-999 Cars Category, was praised by the judges for its use of precast concrete and other design elements to achieve both simplicity and elegance.

Working as part of this same design-build team, FST was also lead structural engineer for the two other garages built as part of this same parking complex serving Yankee Stadium.
