SUMMARY:ASM: Safety Roundtable - Solutions for Site-Specific Safety Training
DESCRIPTION:The construction industry is no stranger to the constantly evolving safety standards and regulations\, almost all of which require site-specific safety programs and training. Many employers are struggling to find feasible options to meet these requirements in a legitimate\, efficient\, and effective manner. This workshop will present various methods of site-specific safety training that are easily adaptable to mobile workforces deployed at multiple sites. We will also take participants on a journey through how to build a customized training program for their organizations. Companies of different sizes and trade specialties are invited to join us and reap the benefits of the latest safety training innovations and program management. \nSPEAKER \nLauren Lamontagne\, JD\, CSP \nMs. Lamontagne has a broad background of experience in both the legal and the regulatorycompliance sectors\, the latter focused on occupational health and safety in industrial environments. As a CSP\, she has served in EHS leadership capacities for the last decade\, ranging from Director of EHS at several global leaders in manufacturing to leading a nationwide team of EHS consultants at one of the premier regulatory compliance consulting firms in the country\, HCG Associates. Those experiences provided opportunities to consult in a wide range of industrial environments\, and led to advanced certifications in Process Safety Management and PHA/HAZOP\, as well as specializing in client representation during OSHA investigations. In 2023\, Ms. Lamontagne opened a new EHS consultation firm headquartered in Dedham\, MA\, Professional Safety Enterprise (PSE) where she operates as the Company President\, serving clients in an EHS consulting capacity across multiple industries\, including construction and transportation. At PSE\, she also leverages more than a decade of technical training expertise to bring effective and innovative training solutions to her clients\, including PSE’s latest foray into virtual reality and immersive based EHS training.
