Burlington, Ma – Erland Construction, Inc recently completed its annual holiday gift drive. This year’s event was to benefit the People Helping People charitable organization based in our hometown of Burlington, Massachusetts.

People Helping People provided names and wish lists for three local families with children ranging in age from 5 to 16. Erland employees – eager to help those less fortunate – purchased the requested items and donated money to this worthy cause. Throughout the month of December, the pile of unwrapped gifts grew as we were able to fulfill every gift request we were given. A representative from People Helping People collected our items on December 12th.

This year’s drive for Burlington’s People Helping People was another great success,” said President, Steve McDonald. “As usual, so many of the Erland employees were incredibly generous and we’re proud that our donations helped make the holiday season a little brighter for these children.

People Helping People’s Holiday Program was established in the late 1980s to help families in need during the holiday season. Every year, the organization sponsors the Wish Tree at the Burlington Mall, which contains tickets with specific wish list items for children in need. Each child receives gifts of clothing as well as two additional requests for toys, books, electronics or gift cards.
