Burlington, Massachusetts – Erland Construction, Inc recently completed its annual holiday gift drive. This year’s event was to benefit the Medford Family Life Education Center, a residential shelter in Medford, Massachusetts.
Medford Family Life provided names and wish lists for 8 women and 15 children. Erland employees – eager to help those less fortunate – purchased the requested items. Throughout the month of December, the pile of unwrapped gifts grew and was finally dropped off at the center on December 23rd. As Erland was the only organization to make any donations to the shelter this year, this outreach provided a holiday celebration where might have been none.
“This year’s drive for Medford Family Life was another great success,” said coordinator Mary Leahy. “As usual, so many of the Erland employees were incredibly generous and we’re proud that our donations helped make Christmas a little brighter for these women and children.”
