Burlington, Ma – Erland Construction recently completed renovations to the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Teaming with Bruner Cott Architects of Cambridge, the completion of this project coincides with the museum’s 50th anniversary.
During preconstruction, Erland and Bruner Cott worked with Brandeis University and the Rose Art Museum staff to set priorities for the Rose Art Museum renovations. In the late 1990s, the museum added new state-of-the-art gallery space. For this renovation, they upgraded the mechanical systems in the original building, built in 1961, to make it more energy efficient. Renovations also included a new glazed vestibule in the lobby with glass railings and new lighting.
