Engelberth Construction Announces New Employees

Colchester, Vt – Construction, Inc. is pleased to announce that our team has expanded with four recent new hires. Michael Farhm and James Crowley have joined the Keene, New Hampshire office. Shawn Davis and Joshua Cropp have been added to the Colchester, Vermont office.e.

Colchester, Vt – Construction, Inc. is pleased to announce that our team has expanded with four recent new hires. Michael Farhm and James Crowley have joined the Keene, New Hampshire office. Shawn Davis and Joshua Cropp have been added to the Colchester, Vermont office.

Michael Farhm, Project Manager, brings over 17 years of experience in building construction to our team. Formerly of The MacMillin Company, Mike managed various projects ranging in size from $2 to $45 million in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts. Some of his past projects include the $45 Million Brattleboro Union High School and Middle School, the new $32 Million Cheshire County House of Corrections in Keene, NH and the $13 Million Hillsborough-Deering School District projects. He is currently working on the $25 Million renovation of the Hanover Inn for Dartmouth College. Mike earned his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a B.A. in Physics from Bates College. Mike resides in Marlborough, NH with his wife Julie and three kids Zachary, Erika, and Kirsten.

James Crowley has been hired as Project Superintendent. Jim, also from The MacMillin Company, has over 25 years of experience as a construction supervisor. His supervisory experience includes the $10.4 Million Keene Family YMCA in Keene, NH, the $10.2 Million Elm Hill Elementary School in Springfield, VT and the $3.7 Million Lowell General Hospital Parking Garage Addition/Expansion in Lowell, MA. Jim is currently a Supervisor on the new Technology, Design and Safety Center at Keene State College. He earned his B.S. in Construction Engineering from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Jim lives in Springfield, VT with his wife Debbie.

Shawn Davis, P.E. joins us as Mechanical Project Engineer. Formerly of Liebert Engineering, his 17 years of experience includes mechanical system design for projects at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, the University of Vermont, Mylan Technologies, IBM, Fletcher Allen Health Care, Dartmouth College and Stryker Biotech as well as King Arthur Flour’s Expansion and Dealer.com’s Headquarters. Shawn is well adept in LEED requirements. Working closely with various project teams, Shawn will assist in the design, coordination, installation and commissioning of mechanical systems. He graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer with the state of Vermont. Shawn lives in Milton, VT with his wife Jen and two children.

Joshua Cropp, a recent graduate from Norwich University with a major in Engineering Management with a concentration in Construction and a minor in Engineering Science, comes on as a Project Engineer. Josh has a solid foundation in Building Information Modeling (BIM), estimating, surveying, as well as site, structural and environmental design. He will assist our Industrial and Facility Services project team as well as other project management teams. Josh is a combat veteran with the Vermont Army National Guard. Josh lives in Middlesex, VT with his wife Nicole.
