Rindge, NH -Eckman Construction has been selected by Franklin Pierce University as the design/ builder of their new Health Science and Athletic Training Center. It will be an approximately 10,000 square-foot addition to the college’s existing field house, and will contain 2 classrooms as well as a new location for athletic training and rehabilitation needs for the intercollegiate sports program.
This marks the ninth project for Eckman on Franklin Pierce’s Rindge campus, including student housing, the Fitzwater Mass Communications Center, and Petrocelli Hall—a classroom building completed in 2008.
“Eckman has in the past given an outstanding delivery of numerous new construction and renovation projects for the University,” said Franklin Pierce Vice President Bruce Kirsh. Past projects have required coordination of construction with ongoing campus activities, as will the Health Science and Athletic Training Center. Construction is expected to be complete in the spring of 2012.
