Hartford, CT— Diversified Project Management (DPM), of Hartford has been contracted to serve as the Owner’s Project Manager (OPM) for the construction of a new 36,000sf addition to the existing Stanley Black & Decker, Stanley Access Technologies manufacturing facility in Farmington. The project includes the construction of a new, pre-engineered metal structure, and the construction of an auto-assisted material racking system for the owners’ storage and staging of bulk materials used in its “Automated Door” manufacturing business. The project team includes Fortunato Construction Group, Inc., Buck & Buck Engineers, and Blue Moon Architectural Design. Construction is underway and occupancy is slated for mid-February, 2014.
