Simsbury, Conn 0 Vesta Corporation (www.vestacorp.com), a leading real estate firm specializing in the redevelopment of distressed affordable housing complexes, has relocated to 175 Powder Forest in Simsbury, CT. The company, whose principals have worked together since 1981, moved from 245 Hopmeadow Street in Weatogue to accommodate the firm’s growth.
Diversified Project Management, Inc. (DPM), a Hartford, CT- based owner’s representative firm, was contracted to represent Vesta during the design and construction process and coordinated the FF&E and move to Powder Forest. Project Managers Rick Davidow and Erin Murphy handled the day to day aspects for DPM and Project Executive, Mark DuPre’, provided executive oversight and assisted in the contract negotiation. In all, 31 employees were relocated into the new 13,100 RSF of space, which spans two floors and is connected by an internal stair.
Tom York of Goman + York Property Advisors represented Vesta in the lease transaction and Sean O’Neal of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the owner Woodgreen Simsbury, LLC. This DPM team worked with Goman + York previously on the lease space for the Jade Marketing Group in Blue Back Square in West Hartford.
Clohessy, Harris & Kaiser LLC provided design and architectural services and worked with the building owner who was responsible for the construction and engineering.
