The firm is moving indoors from phase one, Discovery Woods, to completely transform the existing Science Discovery Museum building, providing much-needed square footage for new and current exhibits. These new spaces support the museum’s commitment to authentic, hands-on learning through play by focusing on:
- Early brain development
- Inventing/tinkering
- Math
- Water & Air
Phase 2 is scheduled for completion in December 2017. During construction, the Children’s Discovery Museum and Discovery Woods will remain open to visitors.
